Carletonville Herald is a weekly sold community newspaper distributed in the Merafong City Local Municipality area, which consists of Carletonville, Fochville, Khutsong, Wedela, Kokosi, Greenspark, Welverdiend and several mining towns.
Carletonville Herald is published by Mooivaal Media, which is jointly owned by Media24 Newspapers and Caxton and is a sister newspaper to Potchefstroom Herald, Potchefstroom Gazette, Parys Gazette, Vaal Weekblad, Vaal Weekly, Vaal Ster, Everton Vision and Sebokeng Vision.
The newspaper comes out every Thursday morning.
